I have been a Financial Advisor since 1994, serving clients here on the Central Coast and all around the Country. I worked at two major Wall Street firms, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch before founding Obispo Wealth Management in 2009. I took the best ideas and practices I had learned from those firms along with the excellent training I had received, so I could advise clients with an Independent approach that puts my client's best interests first.

How did I become familiar with SmartVestor Pro?
I have heard of Dave Ramsey for years, but did not become familiar with him until a family member used SmartVestor Pro. I was curious and learned more about the strategies in this program and was impressed with the program's message.

What Kind of Experience do I have?
I started as a Stock Broker with Dean Witter in 2004, which eventually became Morgan Stanley. Over time, our industry evolved by first embracing Asset Allocation strategies using Mutual Funds and then more advanced Financial Planning techniques. I moved to Merrill Lynch for a few years before starting Obispo Wealth Management in 2009.
During my career, I have helped clients navigate complex financial markets such as the Tech Wreck of 2000; The Lost Decade of Stocks 2000-2010; Asian Currency Crisis; US Debt Downgrade; 9/11; Gulf Wars; War on Terror and the Financial Crisis of 2008, to name a few.
Today as a LPL Financial Advisor, we help clients with their first investment up to providing sophisticated Financial Planning advice to High-Net-Worth Clients.
